Degree Requirements: Degrees in child studies are rewarding very because they offer the coursework needed to understand and teach the importance of early childhood education. The program requires a total of 120 credits which can be taken at the time and discretion of the student, and can be completed in two to three years. In the program, 60 credits are general requirements including english, humanities, social sciences, math, and general electives. The major core requirements of this program are the remaining 60 credits, with 36 credits being composed of courses that detail childhood learning such as how and what to teach early education children. Also included in this program are courses in psychology, theories, and language development in young children. The tuition rate at Post University is $475 per credit hour and financial aid assistance is available to those who meet the requirements to qualify.
